Josh Goodman

Strength and Conditioning

During my time at school playing rugby union and rowing I developed a love for training and sports performance. While rowing I suffered a back injury which took me out of training for weeks and I thought I wouldn’t be able to get back to where I was.

I had been a patient at Prestidge since I was young and experienced first-hand how they could help. On my first visit to Prestidge I walked into the clinic with a weight lifitng belt wrapped around my waist to stop my back from hurting, after one appointment I was able to walk without it and relatively pain free. I knew then that I wanted to explore this as a career.

After school I decided to combine my too passions, sports performance and chiropractic. I complete a Bachelors in Sport and Exercises Science first and then began a Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University, which I am currently completing my final practical year.

Over the years I have gained valuable experience working with a number of sporting teams including Gordon rugby, NSW Waratahs and Newington College as a strength and conditioning coach. I endeavour to use the combined principles I have learned in these environments to assist my patients in their own rehabilitation process so they too can get back to playing their sport and hit their training goals.

The care we provide goes beyond the physical ache and pain, we care about the overall health and wellbeing of our patients.
